Policy for Suspension, Withdrawal or Reduction of Scope

QE Services International (QESI)  will suspend, withdraw or reduce the scope of certification of its clients under conditions such as:

• The certificate holder does not allow surveillance or recertification audits to be conducted at the required frequency.
• The client’s certified management system has persistently or seriously failed to meet certification requirements, including requirements for effectiveness of management system.
• Does not comply with the requirements of Policy for Use of Certification Mark (P-06)
• Fails to close out nonconformity (ies) reported during audits (surveillance, recertification audits) within agreed time scale (e.g. when informed by audit team leader through QESI MR / Coordinator).
• Has not paid fees for certification.
• The certificate holder has voluntarily requested a suspension or reduction in scope

Failure to resolve issues that have resulted in the suspension in a time established by QESI will result either withdrawal or reduction in the scope of certification.
